Groups: Any mixed show choir in the United States will be considered for this poll. To be considered into the final ratings you must have competed in at least three (3) large mixed competitions. Single-gender groups and Middle School groups will not be considered. Prep groups may if they meet the requirements.
Competitions: To be considered into the ratings, a competition must have six competing groups. Finals are not required. Points for placements are given only to the groups who are named Grand Champion or Runner-up of a competition. (Ex. If there are only four finalists, only four groups will receive points for their placements.) Any competition may be thrown out of the SCRS poll if we feel there is substantial evidence of wrong doing and/or unfairness by the judges or the competition.
Points will be awarded as follows...

Ties- Points will be added up and split between the two groups.
Difficulty points will be awards to every group that participates in a competition. Points will be awarded based on the difficulty of the competition's final placements.
The Grand Champions or Runner-ups of the competition will have their point averages (excluding difficulty) added up and divided by the number of groups named Grand Champions or Runner-ups. Each group competing at the competition will get those points. ex.(6 Finalists, average points of finalists=73.6, 73.6 points awarded to each group.)
